Job openings in the automotive industry have rocketed by 12.3% in the last month, with the Automotive industry placed at number six in the top ten according to the latest CV library report.
However, it’s not all good news…
Applications have dropped by 8.4% month-on-month, albeit this may be down to the ‘summer-slowdown in job hunting activity.’
Companies may need to work harder in getting their jobs filled, posting an advert and waiting for applications (if they’re lucky enough to get applications at all!) may no longer be the way to go.
CV-Library’s Lee Biggins commented “While application numbers are not meeting employer demand in the automotive sector, we hope to see these figures pick back-up”.
“The onus is now on businesses within the industry to ensure that they’re marketing their jobs in the right way, and offering the most competitive packages in order to stay ahead.”
