Adding Strength to our Technical Recruitment Team
We are excited to announce we have enhanced our Recruitment team with the addition of an experienced Technical Recruiter in Robert Cox.
Robert brings to Glen Callum nearly 22 years of combined Sales, Account Management and Recruitment experience. He has worked with a wide range of Candidates across all levels and Clients across many different sectors.
Starting his career within Telesales in 1997, Rob excelled and was quickly promoted into a Field Sales Executives role, finally progressing into a Key Business Account Management Role for a multi-national business. Robs previous sales experience ensures he has a deep understanding of the Sales arena and can therefore offer advice and empathy to both Clients and Candidates.
Because of his previous career path Rob’s introduction to Recruitment was a natural process and his now uses this experience and knowledge to enhance businesses and careers by finding his clients the right candidates for their roles.
In his spare time and since child hood, Rob has had a love and keen interest for Horses and spends the majority of his spare time and weekends at the stables training and producing his show horses, or travelling the country officiating at large horse shows.
Out of all the horse shows he attends his favourite event is the Royal Windsor Horse Show held in the grounds of Windsor Castle. His almost claim to fame, if you can call it that, was turning around at the Windsor event to realise that stood almost directly next to him was Her Majesty the Queen!!
With his adaptable approach Rob has a personality that allows him to recruit at all levels and positions to include skilled Engineers, General / Technical Sales through to Managers / Senior Managers.
Robs deep and broad spectrum of Technical knowledge covers Engineering, Manufacturing, HVAC, M&E, Logistics, Warehousing and even Equestrian!
Within 7 weeks of joining Glen Callum Associates Rob used his experience and professional approach to place two very Technical Sales Roles with two of our most valued Clients, and an Automotive Technician with one of our National Clients, showing how he utilises his varied approach and Recruitment styles. Rob realises its not just about having the right skills and experience of the role but a very important part is the personality and cultural fit. This is why Rob really puts the time in to research his clients, Robs approach is about enhancing careers and developing long term client partnerships.
