Automotive Supply chain 28,000 NEW UK Jobs!

Following a report by the SMMT (Society of Motor Manufacturers) a rise in employment is predicted with a new high in vehicle production.

• The amount of cars the UK produces will reach over two million vehicles by 2020, beating the former high of the 1970s.
• More than 1.5 million cars were built in the UK in 2014 and acceleration in productivity and production volumes will see the UK in the top 3 of European car makers.
• Upto 9,500 jobs will be created at source by vehicle manufacturers, potentially generating an extra 28,000 at component supply companies.
