A visit from the Queens Baton Relay
GCA Celebrates the Commonwealth games with a visit from the Queens Baton Relay
So, the countdown is on to welcoming the Queens Baton Relay to the Red House Glass Cone on 24th July 2022!!!
The historical site, which is the home to Glen Callum Associates, are anticipating approx. 450 – 500 visitors to join in and witness the celebrations. Live on local radio and with entertainment including drumming, Childrens crafts, dressed narrowboat (plus volunteers in costume) and refreshments it’s an event not to be missed!
The Dudley borough is receiving the Queens Baton Relay on Sunday 24 July 2022 (1.30pm – 7.15pm). The relay will be visiting several locations and will include a huge range of family-fun activities and things to do and eat.
The Red House Glass Cone is a notable landmark in the local area and the GCA team are privileged to have our offices sited in not only a lovely canalside location but also with great historical importance to the midlands region.
