{"id":39859,"date":"2023-11-21T11:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-11-21T11:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/glencallum.co.uk\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=39859"},"modified":"2023-11-21T11:01:13","modified_gmt":"2023-11-21T11:01:13","slug":"finance-director-jobs-4072kb","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/glencallum.co.uk\/job\/finance-director-jobs-4072kb\/","title":{"rendered":"Finance Director"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Finance Director <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An experienced <strong>Finance Director<\/strong> is required to join the <strong>senior management<\/strong> team of a multi-site <strong>dealership<\/strong>, partnering with a <strong>Global vehicle manufacturer,<\/strong> and having sole distribution rights for the Midlands region.\u00a0 This is a hands-on <strong>Finance Director<\/strong> role, managing a team of 5 and working closely with the senior management team and the vehicle manufacturer.<\/p>\n<p>Our ideal candidate will have <strong>dealership<\/strong> (this could be <strong>automotive, commercial vehicle<\/strong> or <strong>off-highway<\/strong>) experience, although for the right candidate this is not essential.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hybrid role \u2013 Ideal locations \u2013 <\/strong><em>Birmingham, Smethwick, Solihull, West Bromwich, Halesowen, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Coventry, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Nuneaton, Tamworth, Cannock, <\/em><em>Stoke-on-Trent, Stone, Leek, Market Drayton, Congleton, Crewe, Nantwich, Macclesfield, Uttoxeter, Stafford, Burton-upon-Trent, Buxton, Telford<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a3\u00a3Competitive Salary + pension + healthcare + car allowance<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Role<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide <strong>leadership<\/strong> to the companies finance department with direct responsibility for a team of 5.<\/li>\n<li>Support the <strong>Senior Management<\/strong> team in <strong>business planning<\/strong>, <strong>forecasting <\/strong>and creating and managing <strong>budgets<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Define, implement and oversee procedures for the finance department.<\/li>\n<li>Use financial modelling to simulate potential scenarios.<\/li>\n<li>Perform <strong>financial analysis<\/strong> on the company to predict and manage financial health.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor spending and create budgets.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to national and international <strong>financial regulations<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the company\u2019s payroll and bookkeeping system.<\/li>\n<li>Work with financial institutes and represent the company in these meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with the vehicle manufacturer, presenting data and information as required.<\/li>\n<li>Support the company\u2019s 3 dealership sites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Candidate<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Our ideal candidate will be educated to <strong>degree level<\/strong> (or equivalent) in the area of <strong>accountancy, maths, economics or business<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally you will hold a <strong>professional Accountancy qualification<\/strong> such as <strong>ACA<\/strong>, <strong>ACCA<\/strong>, <strong>CIMA <\/strong>or similar.<\/li>\n<li>Preferable is an exposure to a dealership environment, this could be automotive, commercial vehicle or off-highway.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in a Finance Director, Director of Finance, Head of Finance or a Group Finance role.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>strong presenter<\/strong>, able to deliver financial information to different audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience of managing a team.<\/li>\n<li>Experience across different accounting and business software.
