IAAF “Zooms” forward with a Q&A session on Electric and Hybrid vehicles
The first industry bitesize briefing was held by the IAAF yesterday, inviting their members to an online session, and a Q&A, on Hybrid and Electric vehicles. The IAAF forums allow industry leaders to keep abreast of industry knowledge by sharing ideas and insights.
The virtual session invited Steve Carter from Train4Auto consultancy to explore the topic… “Had the pandemic hindered or helped sales of electric and hybrid vehicles?”.
Glen Shepherd, Director of Automotive Aftermarket Recruitment Consultancy Glen Callum Associates, attended the zoom session and his feedback was particularly positive
“Thanks to Wendy and Mike for hosting the online IAAF briefing. The format was relaxed, informative and exceptionally engaging, cementing new ways for the members to communicate by utilising and embracing the latest technology. Congratulations to Steve Carter who gave a detailed and passionate insight into the electrification era and what the future holds for hybrid and electric vehicles. Job well done guys, looking forward to the next briefing on the 23rd July”.
Mike Smallbone, head of membership development at the IAAF, said: “This is another exciting development for the IAAF. Our regular Industry Briefings are often over-subscribed and so this new platform will allow members the opportunity to find out more about IAAF’s extensive activity and how it relates to their business going forward.”
