Automotive Aftermarket set to boom over the next 10 years

Market research by P&S intelligence maintains that the global automotive aftermarket is expected to grow from $78.18 billion in 2019 to $145.07 billion by 2030.

The factors instigating this growth are:

  • The rising number of vehicles,
  • Escalating demand for electric vehicles in Africa, Latin America and the Middle East, and,
  • Installation of connected aftermarket instruments.

Glen Callum host the MMMA Autumn Meeting with Mach2020 on the agenda…

Once again Glen Callum Associates hosted the MMMA Council meeting providing an excellent opportunity for members to network and discuss industry updates.

Glen and the Glen Callum team welcomed members of The Metal forming Machinery Makers’ Association (MMMA) to the Red House Glass Cone in Stourbridge, where the Glen Callum Associates’ recruitment offices are based, for the Autumn council meeting.

The MMMA is a UK Association committed to promoting companies involved in the manufacture and sale of metal forming machinery and ancillary products to the sheet metal forming industry.  Services are designed to make the sector more competitive and range from support on the latest legislation, training opportunities and recruitment advice to subsidised exhibition space at MACH and regular promotion of the UK market to enable overseas investment including joint ventures and export opportunities.  The dedication and support the MMMA gives to members ensures they can thrive in the international marketplace. Team Glen Callum all cross the finish line at Denso Ironbridge Half Marathon 2019

We are delighted (albeit a little bit sore) to announce that Team Glen Callum completed the “multi-terrain” 2019 Denso Ironbridge Half Marathon in aid of Cancer Research UK. The aim was to “finish” and it’s fair to say the hard work and training for this “undulating” half marathon certainly paid off. The team also agree that “undulating” is an understatement.

We did it!

The Ironbridge half marathon runs up and down through the historical and picturesque Ironbridge gorge, though not that many of our team were able to take in the sights and scenery, keeping their focus on the finish line and their time. Continue reading full article
