Supply Chain Co-ordinator Automotive Aftermarket

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this Supply Chain Co-ordinator role is a fantastic opportunity to join a global distributor of high quality engineered components for the Automotive, Aerospace, Construction and Industrial sectors. They have supply partners and customer distribution agreements established in over 35 different global territories.

Ideally based: Princes Risborough, Stokenchurch, High Wycombe, West Wycombe, Great Milton etc.

The Challenge:

As a Supply Chain Co-ordinator, you will support the Commercial Manager in providing the company with a cost effective supply chain, where supplier on time Delivery and Product Quality is the main focus.

The Candidate:

For the role of Supply Chain Co-ordinator, you will;

  • Have your own transport or be local due to accessibility of the site.
  • Have good computer skills in Word and Excel.
  • Be accurate and have excellent time management skills.
  • Be willing to learn as training will be provided where necessary

Main Duties

For the role of Supply Chain Co-ordinator, your duties will be:

  • Extracting data from the company computer system and inputting the information on to an Excel spreadsheet
  • Monitoring and updating supplier data base
  • Regularly updating the non-conformance delivery (NCD) folder
  • Creation of new part numbers
  • Compile all data regarding supplier delivery performance including returns due to non-conformance. To make the information available to the business through charts and reports and to escalate key trends through the NCD folder
  • Using the company computer system standard processes to issue Purchase Orders on a regular basis to the supply chain
  • Ensure regular contact with all suppliers to ensure deliveries are received on time, to maintain comments on the computer system, reflecting key supporting information.
  • To escalate to the Supply Chain Team Leader any deliveries that could lead to back orders or customer delays
  • Arrange freight for all purchase orders where required
