Quality Engineer
A hands-on Quality Engineer / Quality & Process professional is sought to join a highly respected sport & leisure equipment business to lead improvement for Quality, Process & Product. Implementing efficiencies through Engineering will be an integral part of the role along with securing robust Quality Conformance from assembly through to finished goods. The product range is highly desirable with a reputation for designing & developing products through continued innovation.

Location: Sittingbourne
This role will be integral support to the Operations Director to deliver robust Quality, Process & Engineering change through the business, maximising efficiency & quality.
Our top 10 skills & qualities:
- Previous experience of working within a Quality Engineering (desirable 3-5 years) role.
- Proficient in using Quality Analysis Tools such as 8D, 5Y and Lean Manufacturing
- Strong problem solving skills able to influence production / shop floor through to board members.
- Fluent in reading, understanding and assimilating Engineering Drawings.
- Experience in dealing with the supply chain and implementing solid Quality Strategies and supplier quality measures.
- Experience in electromechanical assembly or mechanical components alongside manual assembly processes.
- Experience in dealing with ECR Engineering Change Request procedures.
- Implement and engage with precise accurate and informative product inspection process.
- Highly PC proficient able to use all Microsoft packages.
- Champion and lead all aspects of Quality and Product Improvement through the organisation.
