OEM Key Account Manager

A brand leading Original Equipment Manufacturer has an exciting role for an OE Account Manager to promote a range of automotive electrical and electronics products to specialised vehicle builders, commercial OEM’s and vehicle system suppliers.

Ideally based Central England, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, West Midlands, East Midlands, Oxfordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Northern Home Counties.

This role would suit an OEM Account Manager who is experienced developing and implementing a global strategy with a leading vehicle manufacturer, increasing the volume and turnover with the client.

The Role

  • Managing and developing electronic products to the OEM global market.
  • Globally responsible for volume and turnover planning of key accounts.
  • Drive customer interests / requests through the company.
  • Gather and evaluate global customer data for the defined key account.
  • Gather and select competitive information / trends at key account and share within customer segment and market intelligence.
  • Define a global pricing strategy for key accounts.
  • Assess and analyse customer satisfaction and evaluate developing improvement plans.
  • Track projects, products and quality and keep relevant colleagues and customer contacts informed.
  • Manage technical change regarding customer requirements.
  • Provide technical and sales support to Regional Sales and Key Account Manager’s.

Person Specification

  • Have experience developing business to the vehicle OEM global markets.
  • Have technical knowledge or qualifications related to automotive engineering.
  • You will have excellent written, verbal and PC based communication skills.
  • Have a high level of business acumen and commercial skills.
  • Highly skilled business leader, negotiator and relationship builder.
  • Prepared to travel throughout the UK and Europe.
