We are looking to hire a Senior Executive sales professional / National Account Director / Major Account Director with experience across the Automotive Aftermarket. This newly created opportunity will be to build Sales for Aftermarket Parts programmes across the UK & Europe into national Garage Workshop chains, Fast Fit service centres, along with developing parts and logistics services into key Automotive Leasing companies and their respective Repairer Networks. Their offering cements continuity of supply, strong pricing, rapid delivery and experience with cutting edge vehicle technology for the replacement aftermarket sector.
Target Experience:
Our ideal candidate will have an infinite understanding of the sales process into national Automotive Repair operations, preferably across Europe. Knowledge and experience of nurturing business with national garage & service networks, fast fit organisations or major leasing companies will be distinctly advantageous.
10 Key Skills:
- Substantial and demonstrable track record of cultivating sales with national vehicle repair operations.
- Detailed understanding of the UK and European automotive aftermarket repair sector and it’s supply channels.
- Passion for seeking out and delivering New Business opportunities with strategic value.
- Ability to engage and influence at board level.
- Strategic thinker with an ability to present innovative solutions and close the deal.
- Some technical appreciation of the automotive sector would be good, however our ideal candidate will require robust commercial and strong financial awareness.
- An understanding of automotive leasing businesses and the process of how lease vehicles undertake and authorise repairs would also be distinctly interesting.
- Experience of IT and how technology and systems influence parts sourcing, servicing and repair to add value to large propositions.
- Energetic, positive outlook with a passion for completing tasks and surpassing targets.
- An additional European language alongside English would also be highly desirable.
