Internal Sales Representative

Due to an increase in demand we have a vacancy for an office based Internal Technical Sales Representative/ Technical Sales Manager to promote B2B business. They are an innovative and forward thinking family run business selling high end capital equipment / niche garage equipment / lifts.

£30-35k Basic + Company Bonus + Benefits

Our client is a well-established in the automotive industry. They specialise in selling and installing a wide range of car lifting and parking solutions including larger lifting equipment. They have an impressive client list in the prestigious and the super car garage / dealer sectors.

The Candidate

  • Experienced B2B Sales Manager / Sales Representative with good industry knowledge coupled with the ability to sell garage equipment, specifically car lifts and parking lifts and larger bespoke lifts.
  • The knowledge of selling equipment e.g. Capital Equipment, Vehicle Lifts or MOT packages or Electro Mechanical equipment.
  • Career minded highly skilled at creating good customer relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Promote the company and its range of products.
  • Good communicator with good negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills.
  • Have good business and numeracy acumen remaining proactive.
  • Have good planning and organisational abilities and be able to manage a sale over a long period of time.
  • Be prepared to learn existing product range quickly.
  • Have a passion for the car and sports car sectors.
  • PC literate with good administration skills.
  • Full clean driving licence (3 points acceptable).
  • Ability to work unsupervised.

The Primary Role

  • Represent the company and achieve sales by planning approaches to existing and potential customers.
  • Establishing the customer’s requirements and arrange site visits.
  • Selling to Managers and Directors / Owners.
  • Be a capable negotiator both on the phone and for face to face presentations.
  • Develop dealership and general garage trade, parking solution business and seek new sales areas.
  • Propose products that can meet the customer requirements.
  • Be predominantly office based.
  • High level of customer service and treat all individuals with a high level of honesty and integrity.
  • Develop business from existing leads and hunting new potential clients.
  • Communicate with customers via the Telephone, Email and Social Media.
  • A team player who will join in with answering telephones, general administration and positively support and assist colleagues.

This role would suit a candidate with the following skills/experience – Internal Sales, Field Sales, Area Sales, Capital Equipment Sales and Garage Equipment into the automotive industry, garage workshop, fleet workshop and automotive aftermarket, industrial and engineering sectors.
