Internal Sales Advisor – Automotive Aftermarket

A focussed Internal Sales Advisor is required to join the sales team within an Automotive / Commercial Vehicle Aftermarket product manufacturer based in the West Midlands.

Our client is an independent forward thinking Automotive Aftermarket company, who have an exciting product portfolio with huge potential to grow existing and new business. They have a well-developed range and have the ability to design and launch new lines through their manufacturing facilities.

Due to the growth of the business there is a requirement for an Internal Sales Advisor to support the sales operation.

£25-29k OTE, Basic (£24-27k) + bonus (after trial period) + benefits

Ideally: West Midlands- Walsall, Birmingham, Coventry, Solihull, Lichfield, Tamworth

Your job is to provide excellent customer service, supplying the correct parts, promoting the company and supporting the management and sales teams.

The ideal candidate will have an internal sales / telesales background selling technical products.

The Role
• First line telephone contact for all inbound / outbound telephone calls.
• Dealing with automotive parts distributors, trailer builders, original equipment manufacturers and
motor accessory retailers / outlets.
• Input customer orders offering advice on price & availability, technical & product information.
• Resolve customer issues on deliveries and orders.
• Undertake all administrative tasks relevant to the customer service department.
• Work with the Sales, Marketing, Warehouse and other internal departments
to improve, systems, service and products.

Person Specification
• The successful candidate will have a good standard of general education.
• Knowledge of motor vehicles and automotive products is beneficial.
• It is essential to have very good verbal and written communication skills.
• A good telephone manner is required.
• Dedicated to giving exceptional customer service.
• Proactive, positive and highly motivated.
• Confident in giving technical information over the telephone.
• Good PC skills are essential.
• Excellent administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
