Customer Service Advisor / Sales Administrator

Automotive Parts

An exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor / Vehicle Parts Advisor, to join the internal sales / service team for a very successful branded automotive aftermarket manufacturer.

 Our client is a major supplier and manufacturer of automotive products to both OE and aftermarketsectors.

They require a customer focused and confident advisor with knowledge of motor vehicles and automotive products.  You will have a strong desire to progress, possessing good telephone skills and accurate data input skills. The team in situ is experienced and the role is available due to internal promotion.

 Ideally located – Banbury, Leamington Spa, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Oxford, Coventry, Rugby, Redditch, Stratford – upon – Avon

The Role

  • First line telephone contact for all external telephone calls.
  • Input customer orders and advise price & availability, technical & product information.
  • Support Business Development Managers – with sales, customer and product data information.
  • Resolve customer issues on deliveries and orders.
  • Undertake administrative tasks for returns & warranties as required.
  • Reactive and proactive sales and marketing support for departmental managers.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing, Planning, Warehouse, Credit Control and other internal departments
  • to improve, systems, service and products.

Person Specification

  • The successful candidate will have a good standard of general education.
  • Knowledge of motor vehicles and automotive products.
  • A good telephone manner is essential.
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment.
  • Accurate data input skills.
  • Confident in giving technical information over the telephone.
  • Good PC skills are essential (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes & SAP).
