Are you a tenacious Sales Executive or field sales professional with an excellent understanding of selling into the car fleet or vehicle leasing industry? Or do you have experience selling products or selling services into automotive franchised dealers or large automotive dealer groups?

We have an exciting opportunity for a New Business Sales Executive to join one of the UK’s leading independent vehicle management companies to sell their service, maintenance and repair solutions into trade, car fleet, vehicle leasing, brokers and the automotive franchised sectors.

Ideal Location Cambridge, Bedford, Bury St. Edmunds, Peterborough, Stevenage

Salary circa £25K – £30K + high bonus potential + pension + car allowance + career prospects

The must haves…

The ideal New Business Sales Executive candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience;

  • A driven, self-starter who relishes searching for and cold-calling leads and securing face to face appointments for themselves.
  • Resilient against rejection and able to remain positive, motivated and enthusiastic with each new telephone call or appointment.
  • A Salesperson who is motivated by success and enjoys high earning potential.
  • Field sales experience selling products or services into the automotive industry.
  • Focused and passionate about hitting sales targets and growing business.
  • New business hunter prepared to follow up every lead persistently in seeking out and converting new business opportunities.
  • Excellent telephone manner and great verbal communication skills.
  • Organised and methodical with an ability to plan and prioritise daily workload in order to work smarter and effectively.

Nice to have, not essential…

If you have experience of selling into the car leasing or fleet markets this would be of interest, however we seek determined sales achievers with a track record of success in markets or industries that have required tenacity and a high volume of cold-calling and/or face to face client visits.

  • To develop and grow sales of the organisations service, maintenance and repair packages into the car fleet, car leasing and the motor vehicle franchise and broker sectors.
