Business Development Manager

We are hunting for a professional Business Development Manager / Account Manager to deliver sales through the UK’s motorsport, performance aftermarket, retro fit and luxury car OEM’s / low volume high quality vehicle producers.

Based (UK) – Ideally Midlands & North West – (M6, M62, M5, M40 corridor) 

Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Coventry

Our client designs, manufactures and develops high specification ceramic braking components and friction materials. Their manufacturing process is patented, resulting in products that meet and exceed high performance requirements for the motorsport industry, performance braking and fast road applications. Their products are also specified on dedicated performance vehicles in addition to several luxury branded car producers.   

Continued expansion and significant investment of their manufacturing capabilities has engaged serious interest from global vehicle producers in high end vehicle marques and fast road applications resulting in the company securing several prestigious contracts for exclusive supply.

To steer this continued growth trend, we are now looking to hire an enthusiastic, passionate and dedicated Business Development Manager to further grow sales across the motorsport aftermarket, retro-fit and niche vehicle / luxury OEM’s.  

The key points…

The role has two key responsibilities, the first will be to manage and develop key motorsport and performance aftermarket distributors, promoting retro-fit kits and aftermarket performance braking products. The second key responsibility will be to engage and further grow sales into luxury vehicle producers and niche performance OEM’s .

In an ideal world…

Ideally if you have experience in selling high-end car technologies to automotive OEM’s, luxury car manufacturers or motorsport distributors then this would be of distinct interest. Knowledge of the motorsport sector and fast road market would also be key as the business has developed a healthy international presence within the motorsport re-seller and retailer channels. We require a driven individual with a passion for increasing sales and an ability to deal with customers at all levels.

Equally our ideal person will have the knowledge and skill to increase sales volumes through 3rd party distributors and understand the mechanics of motivating distributors to increase purchases and gear up their sales out activities. Is this you?
