Business Development Manager – Light Commercial Vehicle

An opportunity exists for a Sales Manager to join the sales team within a company that supplies minibuses and commercial vehicles to the education, business and franchise sectors across the UK.

Ideally located: Southern England Reading, Newbury, Thatcham, Wokingham, Bracknell, Farnborough, Hook, Winchester, Portsmouth, Havant

OTE c£50k, £30k Basic, Car, Pension

The Role

  • As a Field Sales Manager, you will be covering the Hampshire & Reading areas, contacting customers within the Commercial Automotive industry to supply light commercial vehicles ie Ford Transit, Peugeot, Renault etc.
  • Generating and following up sales enquiries
  • Liaising with the marketing department regarding advertising
  • Demonstrating vehicles to customers
  • Arrange leasing where required
  • Manage and oversee your own territory
  • Establish, develop and maintain profitable business relationships
  • Organise your own diary to achieve meeting and sales revenue

The Candidate

As a Business Development Manager you will have:

  • Strong, demonstrable sales experience ideally within the light commercial vehicle market
  • Tenacious, results orientated personality
  • In-depth understanding of the sales process
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience
  • Drive and ambition with a strong desire to succeed
