The Role

Reporting directly to the Service Manager the role will focus heavily on attending customer sites to conduct both preventive and reactive maintenance on a range of brick making and clay working equipment. As part of the role you will also be required to support in the installation and commissioning of machines on customers sites as required. Ensuring your work is of the highest quality whilst remaining compliant with health and safety standards will also be an integral part of this role.

The Candidate

Our ideal candidate will come from a Service or Maintenance environment having previously worked out in the field as a Field Service Engineer. Preferably from an apprentice background with engineering qualifications you will possess a solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Specifically, Hydraulic and Mechanical clutch assemblies. Experience of service and repair on clay preparation machinery including; Box Feeders, Grinding Mills, Mixers and Extruders will also be considered impressive for starters. Furthermore, this will be a customer facing position so you will demonstrate an articulate communication style with the ability to communicate activity with the customer in a clear and concise manner.
