28,000 Automotive Supply Chain Jobs!!!
Great news yesterday for the UK’s automotive production sector with the news that Nissan is committed to building their new models of vehicle in Sunderland.
This assists is securing confidence in british automotive component supply and hopefully backing the trend of continued growth within automotive manufacturing.
British suppliers are increasing production of components for cars made within the UK and therefore increasing the need for research engineers, test engineers and experts within new vehicle technology.
We are currently seeing an upsurge of companies looking to recruit within the engineering tier1 & 2 manufacturing sectors and hope this trend continues.
The SMMT has declared that the commitment by Nissan should boost jobs within the supply chain to 28,000. Great news for those of us working within the automotive recruitment sector, demand for professional staff is likely to be high but we look forward to the challenges this brings!
